This gathering was crafted to deliver the latest updates and networking opportunities for agriculturalists within the southern Ohio region.
The day began with a hearty breakfast, followed by a insightful presentation by Josh Winters from OSU Extension – Jackson County. Winters delved into the market outlook for the 2026 farming season, concentrating on insights pertaining to both the livestock and grain sectors. With data-driven strategies, farmers were given the tools to steer their operations and understand the key factors to boost their businesses for the year ahead.
The event received support from sponsors such as the Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District, First State Bank, and Atomic Credit Union. Numerous Ohio Farm Bureau group members were present to represent their organizations, including names like Ag Pro, Atomic Credit Union, Baxla Tractor, First State Bank, Merchants National Bank, and United Producers, Inc.
The showcase shone a spotlight on various programs, including a project led by the Brown County Educational Service Center that aimed to provide proper identification for grain bins as a safety measure for emergency services. Paul Hall and Associates also participated as an Ohio Farm Bureau Select Partner, signifying their status as insurance and financial service providers associated with the organization.
Following the informative presentations, attendees were encouraged to explore the vendor showcase. The showcase was a bustling hub of activity with over 20 vendors offering essential services to the agricultural community. Among the participating vendors were well-known names such as ABS Breeding, Ag-Pro, Baxla Tractor, and many more.
