Five former legal interns and law clerks at Procopio have recently been promoted to the position of Associate, showcasing their dedication, skills, and professionalism within the firm. One such individual is Danielle Sanderlin, now an Associate in Procopio’s Family Law department. Specializing in divorce proceedings, child custody matters, and post judgment modifications, Danielle’s background as a U.S. Navy veteran adds discipline and a unique perspective to her practice. Starting as a legal intern in 2023, she has worked diligently to support complex family law cases through research, drafting, and strategic preparation.

Imani Hicks, an Associate in the Native American Law division, offers guidance to tribal governments and affiliated entities on various legal aspects such as gaming, self-governance, and contracts. Being of Payómkawichum (Luiseño) descent and a member of the Pechanga Band of Indians, Imani has been instrumental in safeguarding tribal interests. Having previously served as a law clerk, she continues to advocate for tribal communities.

Nathan Gelbrich, now an Associate in Procopio’s Corporate Law team, represents a wide range of clients, from emerging startups to established public entities, in matters concerning mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities compliance.
