This strategic move comes on the heels of Abrigo’s growth investment from Carlyle Partners in 2021. Meanwhile, in the Greater Texas market, M Evo Global Acquisition II, a special purpose acquisition company based in Farmers Branch, raised $225 million in its initial public offering. Datatruck, a provider of freight marketplace logistics technology in Irving, secured $12 million in a Series A funding round, led by Avenue Growth Partners. Ares Materials in Plano also raised $12 million in a deal led by Black Diamond Ventures, bringing their total raised amount to $24.99 million. Origin, a provider of physical therapy services, raised an undisclosed amount in a Series B round led by SJF Ventures.
