Jennifer Garner’s Once Upon a Farm looks to reach $764 million valuation in upcoming US IPO

Jennifer Garner, along with the children’s organic food company Once Upon a Farm, is aiming for a valuation of up to $764.4 million in the United States IPO. The company, based in Berkeley, California, plans to raise nearly $209 million by offering approximately 11 million shares priced between $17 and $19 each. After U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs slowed down IPO activity last year, there is optimism that consumer-related IPOs will make a comeback in 2026.

Initially planning to go public in 2025, Once Upon a Farm faced delays due to the prolonged U.S. government shutdown, which impacted the operations of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Despite these setbacks, the company remains resilient and continues to offer a variety of organic products for children, including cold-pressed pouches, frozen meals, and oat bars.

The company’s top shareholders include investment firms such as CAVU Venture Partners, S2G Ventures, and Cambridge Companies SPG. Once Upon a Farm, founded by Cassandra Curtis and Ari Raz in 2015, gained further traction in 2017 when Jennifer Garner and John Foraker, the former CEO of Annie’s food brand, joined as co-founders.

In its prospectus, Once Upon a Farm highlighted potential challenges related to tariffs or trade barriers that could impact the sourcing of ingredients from Mexico and South America, leading to shortages and increased costs. To navigate through these hurdles, the company is taking proactive measures to ensure a steady supply chain and cost-effective operations.

Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan are the joint lead bookrunning managers for the IPO, and Once Upon a Farm will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “OFRM.” With a strong foundation and a mission to provide nutritious and organic food options for children, the company aims to make a significant impact in the market and drive growth in the organic food sector.
