Manufacturing facility in Little Falls to shut down, more than 50 jobs lost
The closure of the Wabash National manufacturing facility in Little Falls is expected to result in more than 50 employees losing their jobs. This impending closure was detailed in a WARN notice issued by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development on January 5.
Wabash National is a prominent player in the transportation and logistics industry, specializing in the manufacturing of semi-trailers and other related products like refrigerated vans. The scheduled closure of the facility in Little Falls is set for this spring, specifically on April 17. The job cuts will occur in two phases, with the first round slated for around March 6 and the second in early April.

In this Indiana location, the closure will result in the elimination of 21 salaried jobs and 193 hourly positions.
