Ramaco Foundation Donates to Toys for Tots and The Food Group

Ramaco Resources, Inc., made an announcement on December 29, 2025, revealing that the Ramaco Foundation has chosen to support Toys for Tots-Sheridan Chapter and The Food Group in Sheridan during this festive season. Expressing gratitude towards these organizations for their unwavering dedication and the positive impact they have on the community, Ramaco aims to contribute to their noble causes.

Randall Atkins, who serves as both the Chairman and CEO of Ramaco Resources and the Chairman of the Ramaco Foundation, had the pleasure of presenting each charity with a generous donation of $25,000. Highlighting the importance of these organizations in bringing joy to children and providing essential resources for families in need, Atkins expressed Ramaco’s honor in assisting them to further their missions and spread hope and generosity.

Acknowledging the transformative work carried out by Toys for Tots and The Food Group, Atkins emphasized the lasting positive change these organizations bring to the lives of children and families in the region. Mo Laya, the Sheridan Coordinator for Toys for Tots, credited Ramaco’s financial support for enabling the expansion of distribution locations to reach more children in need.

Toys for Tots, with the assistance of Ramaco’s donation, will utilize these funds to support their annual toy drive and literacy programs geared towards boosting self-esteem and building a brighter future for underprivileged children. The primary goal of the Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys for economically disadvantaged children during Christmas, offering them the joy of the season and a message of hope while fostering the development of responsible, caring citizens and uniting communities.

The Food Group, another recipient of Ramaco’s generous donation, expressed their gratitude for the financial assistance provided by Ramaco. Oaklee Gilliland, the Executive Director of The Food Group, highlighted the significance of Ramaco’s support in providing essential food resources for children in Sheridan County to ensure they have reliable access to nutritious meals.
