12/26/2025 – David Marshoff Discusses Future Plans

Mr. David Marshoff, a beloved resident of Centralia, Illinois, peacefully passed away on November 30, 2025. Born on May 4, 1942, in Centralia, Illinois, to the late Gilbert Marshoff, Mr. Marshoff had a distinguished career, having served in the United States Air Force and later retiring from Wheaton Plastics after 35 years of devoted service. An avid enthusiast of motorcycle racing and camping, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren. His family, friends, and his steadfast adherence to his Lutheran faith were sources of great pride and joy to him.

Survived by his wife, Patty (Pryor) Marshoff, of Centralia, Illinois, Mr. Marshoff leaves behind two daughters, Amy (Kindle) Little and her husband Ryan from Roswell, Georgia, and Christy (Marshoff) Rascher and her husband Kerry from Xenia, Illinois. He also leaves three granddaughters, Emma and Sydney Little from Roswell, Georgia, and Hanna Allison from Sisnie, Illinois. Additionally, he is survived by his cousin Mike Marshoff from Centralia, Illinois, along with nieces and nephews.

A graveside service commemorating Mr. Marshoff’s life will be held on December 26, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. The service will be officiated by Pastor Steve Upchurch, with military honors conducted by the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and the Centralia VFW Post 2055. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and/or Alzheimer’s Association. These donations can be presented at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia.
