NSHD is also keen on expanding its electronics business, primarily through its Japanese operating company, TNSC, which is capitalizing on strong demand from the semiconductor industry. Nippon Sanso Taiwan recently secured a contract to expand a major semiconductor manufacturer’s fab in Taiwan. This involved the supply of gas purification systems, cylinder cabinets, and other equipment, as well as the construction of gas system piping. These moves indicate the company’s strategic direction towards growth and diversification.

In addition to focusing on M&A activities and sustainability efforts, NSHD recently announced the decision to unify its business under a single group-wide brand. From April 1, 2026, Nippon Gases brand and others will operate under the Nippon Sanso brand.
