Manchester: Indian cricketers Ajinkya Rahane, Jasprit Bumrah, and Shubman Gill took part in an innovative training drill during their practice session ahead of the first Test against England in Nottingham. In a video shared by the BCCI, Rahane was seen knocking down three stumps as Bumrah aimed to hit the stumps with a yellow ball. The bails were then thrown in the air and Gill was seen sprinting to catch the ball in one hand.
The Indian cricket team has been training rigorously ahead of the five-match Test series against England, which kicks off on August 4. The first Test will be played at Trent Bridge in Nottingham, followed by Tests at Lord’s in London, Headingley in Leeds, the Oval in London, and Old Trafford in Manchester.
