LLYC ranks in the global Top 10 PR advisors for M&A

LLYC has once again demonstrated its dominance in the M&A market by securing a spot among the top 10 most active communications firms globally, as reported by Mergermarket’s data from the first half of 2025.

Being the sole Spanish consultancy to break into the global top 10 during this period, LLYC proudly holds the 8th position based on the number of transactions handled. Additionally, when considering the combined value of these transactions, LLYC secures the 12th spot on the list. This remarkable achievement among Spanish-based companies is further emphasized in the European rankings, where LLYC secures the 11th position in terms of volume and the 19th position based on the value of deals managed.

Throughout the first half of 2025, LLYC actively engaged in 66 transactions valued at $36.9 billion, showcasing its expertise across all markets where it operates. This success can be attributed to the firm’s comprehensive approach and ability to navigate complex deals while paying close attention to local regulations and sensitivities.

Some notable transactions advised by LLYC in the first half of 2025 include Thoma Bravo’s $10.55 billion acquisition of Digital Aviation Solutions (Boeing), Clearlake Capital Group’s $7.7 billion purchase of Dun & Bradstreet, and Banco Sabadell’s €3.088 billion sale of UK-based TSB. Other significant deals include Neinor’s €1.336 billion bid for Aedas Homes, Spring Hotel Group’s €430 million acquisition of the Mare Nostrum resort, and Minor International’s €117.3 million purchase of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas (MHEA).

Reflecting on these accomplishments, Luis Guerricagoitia, Partner and Senior Director of Financial Communication at LLYC, emphasized the importance of strategic communication in fostering trust among stakeholders and enhancing the credibility of transactions.

Against the backdrop of increasing macroeconomic uncertainty, Valvanera Lecha, Director of Financial Communication at LLYC, underscored the significance of helping companies position themselves early in the market to establish relationships with key decision-makers and navigate the evolving landscape of corporate transactions.

Furthermore, FGS Global, LLYC’s international communications partner, emerged as a global leader in cross-border M&A projects, securing the top spot worldwide in terms of both transaction volume and value. The collaboration between LLYC and FGS Global continues to drive successful outcomes in large-scale international deals.
