Consumers who purchased TaskUs Class A common stock between June 11, 2021, and Jan. 19, 2022, may be eligible to claim a part of this settlement fund.
Individuals or entities who bought or otherwise acquired TaskUs Class A common stock during the specified period and suffered damages are included in the settlement class. This also extends to those who purchased TaskUs Class A common stock through the IPO registration statement or secondary offering registration statement. Both individuals and organizations, including those who bought shares through brokerage accounts or other intermediaries, are eligible to file a claim.
The total settlement fund amounts to $17,500,000, and the amount each class member is set to receive will depend on various factors. These factors include the number of valid claims submitted, the quantity of shares bought and sold, the purchase and sale dates, as well as the prices at which the shares were acquired and sold. It is crucial for class members to either complete an online claim form or submit a PDF claim form by mail to the settlement administrator by the deadline of Oct. 6, 2025.
In order to submit a claim, all claimants must provide their last four digits of the Social Security number or taxpayer identification number, along with their account number(s). Moreover, claimants must furnish documentation to support their claim, such as broker confirmations, stockbroker statements, and other relevant documents that demonstrate the purchase, acquisition, and sale of TaskUs Class A common stock during the specified period.
The $17,500,000 settlement fund is allocated towards various expenses, including settlement administration costs, attorneys’ fees, attorneys’ expenses, service awards to class representatives, and the remaining amount earmarked for eligible class members. Deadlines for exclusion, claims, and the final approval hearing have been set, with the payout date following the resolution of any appeals after final court approval.
