Captrust Adds $2 Billion in Double Deal – Latest Update

Captrust, a financial services firm, has made some big moves lately, acquiring RIAs Campbell Wealth Management and TruNorth Wealth Partners. The former hails from Alexandria, Virginia, while the latter is based in St. Paul, Minnesota. These acquisitions have significantly boosted Captrust’s assets by nearly $2 billion.

According to Captrust’s managing director, Rick Shoff, the deals have just recently wrapped up in the past month, and while the exact financial terms weren’t disclosed, the firm has taken in $1.4 billion from Campbell Wealth Management and $570 million from TruNorth Wealth Partners.
