An extensive list of warrants for payment was then reviewed, encompassing a wide array of expenses ranging from employee payroll to equipment repairs and utility bills. The meticulous scrutiny of these expenditures underlines the responsible financial stewardship at play within the County Commissioner’s domain.

Emergency Manager and Fire Warden Thom Bozeman outlined the ongoing fire ban and presented an EMPG Grant request worth $43,656.00 to cover salary expenses, a proposition that was met with prompt assent from the commissioners.

Kevin Flock, the Maintenance Supervisor, added a dash of pragmatism to the proceedings by highlighting a necessary increase in the price of a snow plow purchase. The commissioners pragmatically greenlit the purchase at the revised cost, a decision that was swiftly endorsed.

The day’s proceedings culminated in a virtual rendezvous with Craig Hall from Nextlink, who unveiled plans for a wireless internet project in Goshen County.
