Honda White Paint Peeling Class Action Lawsuit | CarComplaints

If you’ve got a Honda vehicle with white paint, you might want to take a closer look. There’s a recent class action lawsuit alleging that the white paint on certain Honda models has some serious issues. We’re talking about peeling, bubbling, flaking, and delaminating. Yikes!

The affected vehicles include Acura MDX, Honda Odyssey, Honda Pilot, Honda Fit, and Honda HR-V models from 2013 to the present. Specifically, we’re talking about vehicles with paint codes like NH-603P, NH-578, and NH-788P.

The lawsuit claims that the paint problems were present from the get-go, and that Honda should’ve let owners know about them. It seems that Honda has acknowledged some of these issues in the past, issuing technical service bulletins and warranty extensions to address peeling paint problems.

Several customers have already taken legal action, including folks like Jim Clemmens from Maryland, Terri Hernandez from California, and Marie Toussaint from New York. They’re taking their complaints to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, pushing back against Honda through a class action lawsuit.

If you’re dealing with peeling white paint on your Honda, you’re not alone. The plaintiffs are represented by Keller Fishback & Jackson LLP, and Squitieri & Fearon LLP. Stay informed, check your paint, and know your rights as a Honda owner.
