A proposed class action settlement has been announced by The Rosen Law Firm, P.A. on behalf of purchasers of American Depositary Shares of VEON Ltd. (NASDAQ: VEON). The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York has approved this settlement.

The settlement pertains to all persons and entities who bought VEON Ltd. f/k/a VimpelCom Ltd. American Depositary Shares (ADSs) between June 30, 2011, and November 3, 2015, holding those shares until at least March 12, 2014. This group is referred to as the Settlement Class. The Court order and Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure have made it known that a securities class action entitled the Action is currently ongoing.

The Lead Plaintiff, on behalf of himself and the Settlement Class, and Defendant VEON, Ltd. (formerly VimpelCom) have come to a proposed settlement of $19,970,000 in cash which would resolve all claims in the Action if approved. A hearing is scheduled for May 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. before Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr., either at the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse in New York or through telephone or videoconference. The hearing aims to decide whether or not the proposed Settlement should be accepted as fair, reasonable, and adequate.

For members of the Settlement Class, their rights are subject to the pending Action and the Settlement, potentially entitling them to receive a payment.
