Once the transaction is finalized in the first quarter of 2026, the new entity will operate as Infleqtion, Inc. and will be listed on a major North American exchange under the ticker symbol “INFQ.”
The merger is set to bring Infleqtion an influx of over $540 million in gross proceeds, assuming there are no redemptions, with a $125 million common stock PIPE included in the transaction valuation. Infleqtion, a specialist in neutral-atom quantum technology, is the only publicly traded company poised to lead the commercial charge in both quantum computing and precision sensing. The fresh capital infusion will be used to speed up the commercialization of the “Sqale” line of quantum computers and expand its range of quantum clocks, radio frequency (RF) receivers, and inertial sensors.
In addition to the financial aspects, Infleqtion has reported notable technical advancements coinciding with the filing. These advancements include showcasing 12 logical qubits with error detection, surpassing the company’s original targets for 2026. Infleqtion is also in the process of integrating NVIDIA’s NVQLink architecture, allowing quantum processors to link up with GPU-accelerated supercomputers. These advancements, along with new contracts from the U.S. Army and the Royal Navy, highlight Infleqtion’s transition from research-driven milestones to practical deployment in the national security and resilient PNT sectors.
The filing of the SEC registration statement represents a major move in the journey of Infleqtion towards going public and joining the ranks of publicly traded companies. The completion of the merger with Churchill Capital Corp X will establish a new chapter in the company’s history under the name of Infleqtion, Inc. on a North American exchange. The transaction is expected to bring in substantial new capital, aiding Infleqtion in expanding its quantum technology and solidifying its presence as a leader in the quantum computing and precision sensing sectors.
