Rocket Lab plans fifth Electron mission for iQPS, a constellation operator

The primary objective of the mission is to deploy QPS-SAR-12, also known as KUSHINADA-I, into a 575km circular Earth orbit. This satellite, named after the Japanese goddess of harvest and prosperity, will join the existing QPS-SAR constellation to provide high-resolution synthetic aperture radar images and Earth monitoring services on a global scale. ‘The Harvest Goddess Thrives’ marks the fifth mission that Rocket Lab will undertake for iQPS, following the successful completion of missions such as ‘The Moon God Awakens’, ‘The Lightning God Reigns’, ‘The Sea God Sees’, and ‘The Mountain God Guards’.
