Events for the Week of January 20-26 in the Sports Business Industry

This week has several exciting events lined up for sports enthusiasts. On Monday, the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship Game is set to take place between Notre Dame and Ohio State at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, starting at 8 pm ET.

Moving on to Tuesday, Netflix is scheduled to release its quarterly earnings report, and fans can catch Celtics forward Jayson Tatum on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Wednesday marks the commencement of the 2025 PGA Show and the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show, both spanning three days. The PGA Show will be held from 8:30 am to 6 pm at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, while the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show will run from 9 am to 5 pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Additionally, Las Vegas Sands will be releasing its quarterly earnings report.

Thursday will witness the NBA Paris Games 2025 matchup between the Spurs and Pacers at 2 pm ET at Accor Arena. Moreover, former NFL player Drew Brees is scheduled to make an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Friday will witness the first-ever Houston Sports Summit luncheon at the Hilton Americas from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm CT. On Saturday, the NBA Paris Games 2025 will see the Spurs and Pacers face off at noon ET at Accor Arena.

As we head into Sunday, the NFL playoffs take center stage with the NFC Championship Game between the Commanders and Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field at 3 pm ET, followed by the AFC Championship Game between the Bills and the Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium at 6:30 pm ET. Lastly, University of Colorado football coach Deion Sanders is set to grace “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
