Revanth to Lead Chalo Raj Bhavan Protest Rally in City on December 18
The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is gearing up for a ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ rally on December 18 in response to a nationwide campaign initiated by AICC to shed light on alleged corruption and inaction of the BJP-led NDA government regarding industrialist Gautam Adani. The rally will see Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with ministers, party MLAs and MLCs, coming together to raise their voices.
The protest rally is set to kick off at 11 am from the Indira Gandhi statue on Necklace Road and make its way to Raj Bhavan. The TPCC has accused the NDA government of turning a blind eye to alleged financial irregularities by Adani and his group, labeling it as a blatant display of “officially allowing corruption” in the country.
On December 18, the Congress will organize a series of programs nationwide to increase awareness about corruption. TPCC will launch its campaign in Telangana on the same day and also shed light on the Union government’s failure to restore order in Manipur. The committee emphasized that Adani’s alleged wrongdoings in the United States have marred India Inc.’s reputation globally, with accusations ranging from corruption and fraud to money laundering and market manipulation.
Furthermore, the rally will also focus on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s absence in strife-torn Manipur. This event aims to draw attention to pressing issues and hold those in power accountable for their actions.
