Roc Oil Company Pty Limited Receives Regulatory Approvals in Oman
Roc Oil Company Pty Limited has recently received regulatory approvals in Oman for its proposed cash offer to the shareholders of Tethys Oil AB. This is great news for both companies and marks an important step forward in this process.
The Oman Ministry of Energy and Minerals has granted its approval for the relevant regulatory concession agreements and joint operating agreements that Tethys is a part of. This approval is conditional on Roc Oil Company completing the Offer. With this approval in place, the Offeror considers that all necessary regulatory clearances and approvals have been obtained for the agreements in Oman.
ROC has already secured regulatory approvals in Denmark and Sweden and is currently in the process of obtaining the remaining approval in Lithuania. They are working closely with relevant authorities to finalize this step in the process.
The offer document for this transaction was published on October 25, 2024, and an additional supplement was released on November 7, 2024. The acceptance period for the Offer began on October 28, 2024, and will close at 17:00 CET on December 2, 2024. The Offeror will need to acquire more than 90 percent of the total shares in Tethys to complete the Offer successfully.

This press release has been shared in both Swedish and English. In case of any discrepancies between the two versions, the Swedish version will take precedence.
