Ensuring Company secures investor funding for expansion and merger strategy

The Ensur Company recently announced that it has secured an investor to support its growth and merger & acquisitions (M&A) plans. Founded in 2014, Ensur is a consulting firm specializing in the insurance and pension sectors, offering a range of services that include transformation, risk & compliance, financial crime, and data management.

Ensur has rapidly expanded its team in Belgium, where it has become a leader in the insurance sector with a staff of 65. Additionally, the firm entered the Dutch market in 2021, where it currently employs approximately 35 team members. The company also introduced a subsidiary known as The Wave, a boutique focused on developing digital and data solutions, staffed by a team of 10.

The Ensur Company, which oversees the three aforementioned firms, is collectively owned by the founders and partners of the subsidiaries, along with Down2Earth Capital, a prominent Belgian private equity firm that recently acquired a stake in the company. While the specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed, the infusion of capital from Down2Earth Capital is intended to bolster Ensur’s service offerings, expand its team, and venture into new markets. This growth strategy will involve a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Reinold Vanhevel, a co-founder of The Ensur Company, expressed the company’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its clients in an ever-changing business landscape. He emphasized that Ensur’s goal is to enhance its existing services, explore new avenues, and consider geographical expansion to strengthen its reputation as a key transformation partner for clients in the insurance and pension sectors. Vanhevel also praised Down2Earth Capital as an ideal partner due to their shared values, such as a no-nonsense approach and a strong focus on delivering results.

Following the partnership with Down2Earth Capital, The Ensur Company completed the full acquisition of Ensur’s Dutch entity, previously held in conjunction with local player Colosseus. This move signals the company’s commitment to consolidating its presence in the Dutch market and further solidifying its operations in the region.

In summary, the recent collaboration with Down2Earth Capital is expected to fuel The Ensur Company’s expansion plans, allowing it to enhance its service offerings, grow its team, and explore opportunities for further market penetration. This initiative aligns with the company’s vision of becoming a trusted partner for clients seeking transformative solutions within the insurance and pension sectors.
