The CEO of Cupron, Chris Andrews, expressed his excitement about the new addition to the board, stating, “Mark has built and led commercial organizations at the intersection of science and consumer product innovation. His insight into scaling specialty chemical solutions, especially in hygiene and microbial control, will be a tremendous asset as we expand our partnerships and bring new Cupron-enhanced products to market.” Andrews, who is an economics graduate from Dartmouth College, has been leading Cupron for the past ten years and was previously the CEO of NanoChemonics.

Cupron has been known for its focus on patented copper-based formulations to create antimicrobial, personal care, and material enhancement products. These products have found applications in various industries including medical devices, textiles, plastics and solids, coatings, water infrastructure, building and construction, oil and gas, and specialty industrial sectors. From producing socks that eliminate athlete’s foot fungus to adult diapers sold in Israel, Cupron’s products have a diverse range of applications. One of their products registered with the EPA even claims to kill 99.9% of bacteria in under two hours.

The recent influx of funds will allow Cupron to fast-track its transition into a specialty chemical company. This support will help the company in expanding product development, technical support, and marketing efforts, marking a significant milestone for Cupron’s growth and transformation.

With the appointment of Mark Miller and the secured funds, Cupron is positioning itself for a new era of innovation and growth in the field of specialty chemicals. The expertise and experience that Miller brings to the board align perfectly with Cupron’s vision to expand and diversify its product offerings. As Cupron continues to forge partnerships and develop new products, the future looks promising for the company as it embarks on this journey towards becoming a leader in the specialty chemicals industry.
