TBIG initiates 2025 mergers and acquisitions strategy – Insurance Age

Beam Insurance Solutions, a subsidiary of The Broker Investment Group, has initiated a merger and acquisition campaign aimed at 2025. The latest acquisition by Beam is KDH Insurance Brokers, a reputable firm based in Bridgnorth. With 19 years of experience in the industry, KDH specializes in commercial lines insurance with a dedicated division for private clients. This strategic move has added £4 million of gross written premium (GWP) to Beam’s portfolio, elevating its total GWP to £20 million.

Despite the recent acquisition, Beam is optimistic about its growth trajectory and aims to achieve a GWP of £25 million by 2027. This ambitious goal is supported by the decision to retain all six staff members of KDH, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of service. These employees will continue to operate from the same office, maintaining the existing customer relationships and service standards.
