Miller appoints senior hires to lead new M&A and Strategic Solutions team
Miller, the leading independent re/insurance broker, has introduced a team dedicated to M&A and Strategic Solutions (MASS) with the addition of three seasoned professionals. Andrew Johnson and Edwina Charlton will spearhead the team, bringing with them a wealth of experience in M&A and insurance industries. Rupert Newman will join as the Head of Broking, complementing the team’s skill set.
The new team aims to focus on transactional risk insurance and develop specialized tax and contingent risk practices. Together, they aspire to establish themselves as a prominent full-service team in the global market. Johnson and Charlton boast a combined 20-year tenure in M&A law, starting their careers in London and Asia. Transitioning to the insurance sector with Marsh has deepened their expertise further. Rupert, with a background in broking, adds another layer of specialization to the team.
Operating under Miller’s Professional & Financial Risks division, the MASS team will be headquartered in London, catering to a diverse clientele including private equity firms, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, law firms, and corporate financiers. They will offer tailored guidance on domestic and cross-border risks across various industry sectors.
