Seeking immediate advice from respected community members | Legally India

As a final-year law student, the lack of placement support at my university has left me feeling anxious about securing internships in the legal field. Despite having completed internships at reputable law firms and gaining experience in areas like Capital Markets, M&A, and PE/VC, I am struggling to land assessment internships at top-tier or boutique firms.

My anxiety stems from the fear of missing out on valuable opportunities to further my career in my preferred areas of expertise. I have a strong academic record and practical experience, but the competitive nature of the legal industry is making it challenging for me to secure internships that align with my career goals.

I am seeking guidance from the community on how to navigate this situation and make the most of the resources available to me. If I am unable to secure opportunities at top-tier firms, I am open to exploring positions at boutique firms to gain relevant skills and experience in M&A, PE/VC, and Capital Markets.

Any advice on alternative pathways or strategies to enhance my prospects would be greatly appreciated. I am eager to learn from the collective wisdom of the community and find a way forward in my legal career. Your insights and suggestions could make a significant difference in guiding me towards a successful future in the legal profession.

Thank you in advance for your support and guidance during this challenging time. Your input is invaluable to me as I navigate the complexities of the legal internship landscape and strive to make meaningful contributions to the legal field.
