Iowa Congressman Introduces Anti-Corruption Legislation

Iowa Congressman, Zach Nunn, is taking a stand against corruption in government. He believes that politicians in Washington shouldn’t be profiting from their positions and has introduced the No Corruption in Government Act to address this issue.

Nunn’s bill would prohibit members of Congress and their spouses from trading individual stocks to prevent them from benefiting from insider information. Additionally, he is proposing to increase the amount of time senators and representatives must wait before becoming lobbyists after leaving office to avoid conflicts of interest.

In an effort to address the issue of government employees working remotely, Nunn has also introduced a bill that would require federal employees to spend a majority of their time physically in the office. This legislation comes in response to a report showing that many federal agencies are not utilizing their office space efficiently.

By introducing these bills, Nunn hopes to hold politicians accountable and ensure that government is working in the best interest of the people. His efforts to promote transparency and integrity in government are commendable, and it will be interesting to see how these proposals progress in Congress.
