K&L Gates Appoints 35 New Partners, Of Counsel and Policy Professionals

Global law firm K&L Gates LLP has recently announced the election of new partners, of counsel attorneys, government affairs counselors, and government affairs advisors, effective January 1. This diverse group of 33 individuals hails from all nine practice areas of the firm and represents 18 different global offices, including cities like Berlin, Nashville, New York, and Tokyo.

Jim Segerdahl, K&L Gates Global Managing Partner, expressed his delight in promoting such a talented group of individuals to these new positions. He emphasized their skills, dedication, and commitment to providing exceptional service to clients worldwide. Segerdahl congratulated the newly appointed partners and other key personnel on their well-deserved achievements.

Among the standout lawyers who have been named partners are Susanne Albrecht-Roggenstroh from Berlin, focusing on Asset Management and Investment Funds; Kevin Alonso from Nashville, specializing in health care law; Maggie Blair from Charlotte, with expertise in private credit and private equity transactions; John Carlson from Seattle, handling commercial real estate matters; and Vincenzo Chimera from Chicago, known for his work on toxic tort cases.

Sarah Decker from Pittsburgh, Jacob Derr from Washington, D.C., Clare Frederick from Chicago, and Trevor Gates from Seattle are a few more exceptional individuals who have been promoted to new positions within the firm. Their areas of expertise include commercial litigation, asset management, investment funds, intellectual property counseling, and sports, entertainment, and media transactions.
