The Rock Receives $14 Million Worth of TKO Stock

Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson had an already amazing 2024, and things got even better at the end of the year.

A recent SEC filing on Friday night unveiled that Johnson received 96,557 Class A shares of TKO stock on December 31st as part of an agreement tied to his return to WWE in late January 2024, where he also joined the TKO Board.

These shares are now valued at $13,749,716.80, based on the closing price of $142.40 per share.

The December 31st allocation represents half of a total of 193,115 restricted stock units granted to Johnson on January 23, 2024. The remainder of the shares will be distributed monthly throughout 2025.

In total, the filing indicates that Johnson owns 289,673 shares, valued at over $41 million in today’s market. Following his appearance at night one of WrestleMania 40 in 2024, he earned nearly 97,000 shares.

When Johnson made his WWE return in January, he also acquired full intellectual property ownership of “The Rock” name, along with other related trademarks.

It’s been a while since Johnson last appeared on WWE TV during October’s WWE Bad Blood. The question now is if he will make an appearance on WWE Raw’s debut on Netflix this Monday or what his role will be in WrestleMania 41.
