Krispy Kreme announces expansion into India
Curefoods has recently acquired the south and west India operations of Krispy Kreme, taking over from Landmark Group, who used to manage nearly 50 access points in India. They’ve got big plans, signing a multi-year agreement to add over 350 new access points in the next five years. This move includes Landmark Hospitality Services Ltd. taking a stake in Curefoods India.
Ankit Nagori, the founder of Curefoods, expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating that Krispy Kreme’s global reputation and popularity fit perfectly with their vision of offering high-quality food experiences. Curefoods already operates multiple brands and over 500 cloud kitchens and offline stores across 40 Indian cities.
Krispy Kreme, based in Charlotte, NC, has a long-term goal of reaching 100,000 access points worldwide. This expansion into India is a significant step in that direction.
