German American promotes Arnett to executive role
German American Bancorp, based in Jasper, has recently promoted Bradley Arnett, a senior vice president, to the role of executive vice president effective January 1st. CEO Neil Dauby expressed his confidence in Arnett’s abilities and highlighted the valuable experience he brings to the company’s executive team.
Arnett, who also serves as the company’s chief legal officer and corporate secretary, joined German American Bancorp in September 2023 after a successful legal career spanning over two decades. His background includes working at prestigious law firms like Taft Stettinius & Hollister, Frost Brown Todd, and most recently, Dentons Bingham Greenebaum. With expertise in Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, banking regulation, commercial finance, and public and private securities offerings, Arnett brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
German American Bancorp, operating 74 banking offices in Indiana and Kentucky, is in the process of finalizing a $330 million merger with Heartland BancCorp. This merger will expand its presence by adding 16 offices in the Columbus, Ohio area and four offices in the Cincinnati area. Despite closing Monday at $40.54, slightly below their 52-week high of $46.75, German American continues to experience growth and expansion in the banking sector.
