Arnett appointed Executive VP, Chief Legal Officer at GAB – Dubois County Free Press, Inc.
German American Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: GABC) and its banking subsidiary, German American Bank, have announced the appointment of Bradley C. Arnett as the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary effective January 1, 2025. Arnett, who currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary, brings over 20 years of legal experience to his new role.
Prior to joining German American Bank, Arnett worked as a partner at Dentons, a renowned global law firm with offices in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. His expertise lies in Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, banking regulation, commercial finance, and public and private securities offerings. Arnett also has extensive in-house counsel experience at Fortune 500 companies.
Arnett’s contributions to the legal field have been recognized by the Best Lawyers in America for his work in Banking and Finance, Financial Services Regulation, Mergers and Acquisition, and Corporate Law. In 2022, he was named “Lawyer of the Year” in the State of Ohio for Banking and Finance law.
Education-wise, Arnett holds a law degree from the Chase College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Kentucky University. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Ohio.
