– A New York team at Latham advised SRS Distribution, a prominent distributor of roofing, landscaping, and pool products in the US, in its US$18.25 billion acquisition by The Home Depot (NYSE: HD), the world’s largest home improvement retailer. This acquisition stands as the fourth-largest US private equity exit to date.
– Additionally, Latham’s New York office represented various parties in financings totaling approximately US$9.18 billion to facilitate Stone Point Capital and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice’s acquisition of Truist Insurance Holdings. This landmark acquisition valued Truist Insurance Holdings at US$15.5 billion and is recognized as one of the largest take-private transactions of 2024.
