Proposed Settlement in VMware Securities Class Action Lawsuit

Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP just shared some big news about the VMware Securities Litigation case. If you bought VMware, Inc. class A common stock between August 24, 2018, and February 27, 2020, you might be eligible for a payment from a class action settlement totaling $102,500,000. Exciting, right?

A hearing is scheduled for March 31, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. with Judge Edward J. Davila at the United States District Court, San Jose Courthouse, to finalize the details. They’ll be discussing whether the proposed Settlement is fair, the Plan of Allocation for distributing the Settlement proceeds is reasonable, and Lead Counsel’s request for attorneys’ fees and expenses is justified.

Curious about your eligibility for a piece of the pie? You can get all the details by visiting www.VMwareSecuritiesLitigation.com or reaching out to the Claims Administrator at VMware Securities Litigation, c/o Gilardi & Co. LLC, Claims Administrator, P.O. Box 301170, Los Angeles, CA 90030-1170; 1-888-298-5840. The deadline to submit your Proof of Claim is March 17, 2025, either by mail or online.

Remember, if you’re part of the Class and you don’t submit a valid Proof of Claim, you won’t be eligible for any portion of the Net Settlement Fund. But no worries, you’ll still be subject to any decisions made by the Court in this case.

If you’d prefer to exclude yourself from the Class, just send a written request for exclusion by March 10, 2025. It’s all happening, so mark those dates on your calendar!
