Safely Falling Down Staircase: How Joy Impacts Your Safety
Have you ever experienced so much joy that you couldn’t contain yourself? That’s what happened to John-Boy Walton, the character from the beloved TV show “The Waltons,” when he sold his first story to a publisher. His sheer exuberance led him to trip and fall down the stairs, but his elation overshadowed any potential injury. Inspired by John-Boy’s story, I had a similar moment when my story about meeting Elvis Presley was accepted for publication. I was over the moon with excitement, just like John-Boy.
