LNG Exporter Venture Global Files for IPO

One of the biggest suppliers of liquefied natural gas in the U.S., Venture Global Inc., has filed for what might shape up to be one of the most significant initial public offerings of 2025. The proposed size and price of the share sale have not been disclosed yet, but Bloomberg News previously reported in November that the company aims to raise over $3 billion in the IPO.

Even after going public, Venture Global will remain under the control of its founders, Mike Sabel and Bob Pender, as per the filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission dated December 20th.

Venture Global’s decision to initiate an IPO signals a move towards engaging with Wall Street and opening up new investment opportunities. It marks a significant milestone for the company, pointing towards growth and expansion in the LNG market.
