A piece of New Jersey history is back on the market! The iconic Crocker Mansion in Mahwah is now up for sale after being seized from a fraudster in 2023. This grand estate, built between 1901 and 1907, features 21 bedrooms, 29 bathrooms, and a whole lot more.

Listed for $33 million, the 120-year-old mansion sits on 12.5 lush acres along the Ramapo Mountains. With over 50,000 square feet of living space, this brick palace is a sight to behold. Inside, you’ll find a stunning great hall, a library with gold leaf décor, marble staircases, and even an indoor spa and sauna. Not to mention a tearoom, billiards hall, and movie theater for ultimate luxury living.

The property also includes a tennis court, fountains, and an eight-car garage. The listing describes the Crocker Mansion as a “truly magnificent and rare estate” just a short 25-mile drive from the bustling heart of New York City.

The mansion’s previous owner, Ho Wan Kwok, also known as Miles Guo, was charged with a massive fraud scheme, allegedly scamming online followers out of over $1 billion. Guo purchased the estate for $26 million in 2021, making it the most expensive home sale in New Jersey that year. However, the property was seized along with other assets by the federal government.

Despite the turbulent history, the Crocker Mansion stands as a testament to opulence and craftsmanship. Interested buyers can reach out to Compass New Jersey agents Diane Cookson and Carl Gambino and the Fox & Stokes team for more information on this historic gem.
