Hulu Secures Top Spot in Q3 Advertising Revenue
According to a recent report from a well-known industry research firm, Hulu, The Walt Disney Company’s general entertainment service, dominated the advertising revenue share in the third quarter (Q3).
During Q3, Hulu’s revenue saw a 5 percent increase, reaching $782 million. The data came from a comparison of quarterly earnings reports from publicly traded companies and other sources.
Amazon’s Prime Video, which recently started showing ads to Prime members by default, experienced the highest growth in ad revenue during Q3, with $441 million, a whopping 230 percent increase.
Netflix followed closely behind Prime Video, generating $429 million in revenue, up by 95 percent. Peacock also showed impressive growth by earning $761 million in revenue during the same period, a 114 percent increase.
