Software and technology firm Blackbaud recently announced that they will be taking a $415 million charge in their fourth quarter of 2024. This charge is related to their educational EVERFI asset group, which has been underperforming. The company is considering various alternatives for EVERFI, including a potential divestiture of the business. Blackbaud’s CEO, Mike Gianoni, emphasized that despite this charge, EVERFI remains committed to supporting its customers and helping companies dedicated to social impact.

On another note, RKD Group has been selected as the new direct response fundraising agency of record for Feed The Children.
