Ameriprise Financial has some exciting news to share! They’ve appointed Brian Mora as the new senior vice president of experienced advisor recruiting. With 20 years of experience at Ameriprise under his belt, Mora is the perfect person to lead the charge in bringing advisors to the firm.

In his new role, Mora will be heading up a national team of recruiters and field leaders, all working together to attract top advisor talent to Ameriprise. He’ll be reporting to Pat O’Connell, who is the president and executive vice president of the Ameriprise Branch & Institutions Groups.

Before taking on this new challenge, Mora served as the regional vice president for the central region in Ameriprise’s branch channel. According to the announcement, his diverse leadership experience across different channels within the firm makes him well-equipped to continue the firm’s recruiting success.

Mora steps into this new role following the resignation of Manish Dave in October. As of the end of September, the advisor headcount at Ameriprise stood at 10,368, showing a 1% increase over the previous year. This increase reflects the addition of 71 experienced advisors in the quarter and strong advisor retention.

It’s clear that Ameriprise is committed to bringing on top talent to serve their clients, and with Brian Mora at the helm of their recruiting efforts, they’re set up for continued success in the future. It will be exciting to see how Mora and his team continue to grow and strengthen Ameriprise’s advisor network in the coming months and years.
