The Money-Making Schemes of Trump’s FBI Director Pick: Kash-ing In

Christopher Wray, the current FBI Director, was selected by Donald Trump for a 10-year term that will continue until 2027. The intention behind the lengthy term is to shield the position from political influences. Despite this, Trump has expressed dissatisfaction with Wray for various reasons, including his oversight of a FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago, which unveiled classified documents. In late November, Trump announced his plan to replace Wray with Kash Patel, who he had previously considered for the position of Deputy FBI Director but was blocked by former Attorney General Bill Barr. Barr criticized Patel, stating he lacked the necessary qualifications for the job.

Kash Patel has demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Trump, aligning with his views about the FBI being compromised. Patel, in his book “Government Gangsters,” referred to the FBI as a threat to the public and called for drastic actions to address the issue. Trump endorsed the book on Truth Social, praising it as a roadmap to dismantle what he calls the “Deep State.”

Patel’s lack of law enforcement experience is overshadowed by his commitment to Trump. He has capitalized on his loyalty, amassing a large following on Truth Social and even selling pro-Trump merchandise through his apparel brand, Based Apparel. From “Trumpamania” t-shirts to children’s books portraying himself as a wizard and Trump as king, Patel has monetized his allegiance to Trump in various ways.

In addition to merchandise, Patel has delved into health conspiracy theories, marketing dietary supplements as a “mRNA vaccine detoxification system,” aiming to cater to Trump supporters. He also ventured into the wine business, selling K$H Cabernet Sauvignon, and promoted the conservative credit card, Coign, as an alternative to what he called “credit cards for libs.”

Through partnerships with various companies like Warrior Essentials and Revere Payments, Patel has established his own brand, K$H, tailored to those who align with his conservative values. Despite his limited experience in law enforcement, Patel’s dedication to Trump has propelled him into various money-making ventures, all while reinforcing his allegiance to the former president.
