Caira Watson Haynes is a legal professional who specializes in representing public and private companies, as well as private equity clients, in mergers and acquisitions, complex business transactions, and general corporate matters.

Her legal journey began at Duke Law School, where she earned her J.D. in 2024. During her time at Duke, Caira stood out as the president of the Black Law Students Association and as an admissions ambassador. She dedicated her legal skills to representing low-income children and parents in matters concerning education, public benefits, and access to healthcare as a student clinician at Duke’s Children’s Law Clinic. Her commitment to leadership was recognized by her peers and professors, who honored her with the prestigious Justin T. Miller Award for Leadership.
