Shawn Tuma Discusses SEC Cybersecurity Regulations for CLE Session
Shawn Tuma, attorney at Spencer Fane, recently participated in a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) session that delved into navigating SEC cybersecurity regulations and increased liability for senior executives and boards. Hosted by the Legal Cyber Academy and West LegalEdcenter, the session focused on the SEC’s Rules on Cybersecurity Risk Management, Strategy, Governance, and Incident Disclosure issued in June 2023.
During the session, Shawn and his colleagues provided an overview of these regulations, discussing compliance strategies that organizations can implement. They also shared practical approaches to minimize regulatory risks and liability when handling cybersecurity threats.
