Public Notice 9182 – Torrington Telegram: Important Update
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming had a regular meeting at the Goshen County Courthouse. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance, and the agenda and minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
Clerk of Court, Brandi Correa, presented her earnings report for October, totaling $3,009. The commissioners accepted the report. County Grant Writer, Hannah Fullmer, also attended the meeting, and her report was accepted as well.
During the meeting, County Road and Bridge Superintendent Chris Stoddard, County Surveyor Bob Taylor, and County Planner Michael Tietjen presented the Road and Bridge report. They discussed ongoing projects and updates in their departments. Notably, Goshen Solar had not applied for a permit at that time.
County Clerk Mary Feagler presented various financial reports, including earnings, warrants, and payroll. The reports were reviewed and accepted by the commissioners. Thom Bozeman, Emergency Manager and Fire Warden, also presented his report, including an EMPG Grant for approval.
Maintenance Supervisor Kevin Flock reported that the price of a requested snowplow had increased, but the commissioners agreed to proceed with the purchase at the higher cost.
In addition, the commissioners had a Zoom meeting with Craig Hall of Nextlink regarding a grant opportunity, and budget amendments were discussed and approved.
