White & Case Wins UK Public M&A Team of the Year at British Legal Awards
White & Case, a global law firm, has been awarded the title of “Public M&A Team of the Year” in the UK at the prestigious British Legal Awards 2024. This recognition comes on the heels of the firm’s pivotal role in advising SigmaRoc plc on its monumental €1 billion reverse takeover of CRH plc’s European lime business. The transaction was particularly intricate, involving three interconnected acquisitions in various jurisdictions, including Germany, the Czech Republic, Ireland, the UK, and Poland.
David Lewis, an M&A partner at White & Case who spearheaded the SigmaRoc deal, expressed his excitement about the award. “We are elated to be acknowledged for our contributions to this transformative deal for SigmaRoc.
