Today, we’ve got the latest on venture capital, seed, pre-seed, and angel investments for NYC startups. Let’s dive in!

First up, Lightning AI has secured an impressive $50M in Venture funding. This company is known for PyTorch Lightning, their AI development framework. Investors like JP Morgan, Cisco Investments, K5 Global, and NVIDIA are backing this innovative venture. Started by Luis Capelo and William Falcon in 2019, Lightning AI has now raised a total of $108.5M in reported equity funding.

Next, Ride Health, a provider of transportation solutions for healthcare patients, has raised $10.9M in funding. A recent SEC filing shows that seventeen investors are participating in this round. Founded by Imran Cronk and Sumun Khetpal in 2016, Ride Health has now raised a total of $27.1M in reported equity funding.

Moving on to North Pole Security, they’ve raised $4M in funding for their MacOS endpoint protection solution. A recent SEC filing reveals that this round comes from a sole investor. Peter Markowsky and Russell Hancox founded North Pole Security in 2024.

Last but not least, Qlty Software, a platform that ensures code quality, has secured $2.5M in funding. According to a recent SEC filing, three investors are involved in this round. Bryan Helmkamp founded Qlty Software in 2024.
