Jim Cramer’s Analysis: Copart vs. BHP – Which Energy Stock to Buy

On last week’s “Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer shared his top stock picks. He recommended buying BHP Group, praising it as a “very well-run” company. BHP recently announced plans to invest up to $14 billion in enhancing its copper production in Chile to meet growing global demand for copper.

Cramer also suggested buying shares of Diamondback Energy, Inc. (stock symbol FANG), despite the company reporting slightly lower quarterly earnings than expected. He remains confident in the company’s prospects moving forward.

Regarding AMC Entertainment (symbol AMC), Cramer advised selling if the stock reaches six dollars. He referenced the company’s recent debt retirement moves as part of its financial strategy.

Another standout in Cramer’s eyes is Copart, Inc. (symbol CPRT), which he described as a “remarkable” company. Copart recently reported impressive sales results for the first quarter.

In Friday’s trading session, BHP Group saw a 0.7% increase to close at $52.36, while Diamondback Energy ended the day up 1.4% at $185.29. AMC Entertainment also saw gains, closing at $4.55, and Copart had a substantial jump of 10.2% to settle at $62.70.
